AND SO MY IDEA WAS TO…

Hey Boss Baes!

I'm Precious Edwards—super mom, entrepreneur, and founder of L.A.B Salon, "Like A Boss" Salon. Originally from Chicago, IL, I relocated to Houston, TX, in 2009. Owning a salon and building an empire has always been a childhood dream of mine. Within just eight months of moving to Houston, I managed to build a clientele and open my own salon suite.

Fast forward to 2020, I decided to rebrand and expand my salon. Now, I have four amazing stylists working alongside me: @hairbylakendrag, @alishanaturalstyles, @eliyah_styles2021, and @hookedonlookz. We offer a wide range of services, including relaxers, natural styles, color, twists, braids, locs, extensions, and custom lace wig units.

Were Excited to announce that we’ve expanded to chicago, il! our new salon in my hometown is now Officially open, and we cant wait to give you your boss look!

In 2020, we also launched our L.A.B full hair care line, which focuses on maintaining healthy strands and scalp while strengthening the hair. All our products are vegan and free from alcohol, sulfates, and parabens. Additionally, we're excited to introduce some boss apparel, which will be available in summer 2024.
